Stainless steel butt welding fittings come in various types to accommodate different piping configurations. These fittings allow changes in direction, branch connections, size transitions, and closure of pipe ends.

Butt weld fittings are pipe fittings used to change of direction of flow, to branch off, reduce pipe size or attach auxiliary equipment. And butt weld fittings are available in multiple shapes, such as elbows, tees, caps, reduces, stub ends and olets.

The butt welding fittings are made of pipe, tubing, plate, or forging. The fittings can be made from a hot forming or cold forming process, in welded or seamless pipe. It may be a standard fitting that meets all dimensional requirements of ASME B16.9 and or customized fitting in conformance with ASME B16.9, except that dimensional requirements are as agreed between customer and manufacturer.
